Baccarat is one of the most amazing classic online casino games. It’s a game that’s easy to understand and play while offering excitement and suspense. With online Baccarat, table actions are handled by professional dealers who have been well trained in interacting with Baccarat players online.
How Baccarat Online Works
Online Baccarat is much like how one plays the traditional game. The player interacts with a live dealer, and as the live dealer stands at the table the player stands across from the dealer. In addition, some tables can support multiple Baccarat players. When dealing with multiple players, the live dealer uses just one hand and each player will have to play against the dealer’s hand, with the players’ hands all dealt from the same given deck. The genuineness of the game is not lost — you get to know how many decks are in a given shoe as well as the exact time the live dealer will reshuffle.
Baccarat General Rules
Each Baccarat player is dealt two cards. When the added values of the initial two cards dealt are 8 or 9, a ‘Natural’ win occurs without delay. If another player gets the same result, there is a “tie”. In cases where there are no ‘Natural’ wins, supplementary cards will be dealt.
No supplementary cards will be dealt if a ‘Natural’ occurred as a result of the Player or Banker getting an 8 or 9. Generally when no supplementary cards are required, small bets will win. In a situation where both the Player and the banker got a 6 or 7, the result is a tie.
Standard casino rules dictate when a third card for a Player’s hand must be drawn. First two cards totaling to 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 automatically means a third card is drawn. The only exception here is if the Banker gets a “Natural” win. A total of 6 or 7 would mean “Stand”. And as mentioned, a total of 8 or 9 is automatically a “Natural” win. Once a player gets a third hand, standard casino rules also dictate the conditions when the Banker is dealt a third hand.
The banker is required to draw when the player’s first two cards total to 0, 1, or 2 and their third card is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9.
If the player’s first two cards total to 3, and the third card is anything but 8, the Banker must draw. If the third card is an 8, the Banker must “Stand”.
If the player’s first two cards total to 4, and the third card is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7, the Banker must draw. If the third card is 0, 1, 8, or 9, the Banker must “Stand”.
If the player’s first two cards total to 5, and the third card is 4, 5, 6, or 7, the Banker must draw. If the third card is 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, or 9, the Banker must “Stand”.
If the player’s first two cards total to 6, and the third card is 6 or 7, the Banker must draw. If the third card is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, or 9, the Banker must “Stand”.
If the player’s first two cards total to 7, the Banker must “Stand”.
A Pair is a side bet that can be made predicting that the first 2 cards dealt to the Player’s or Banker’s hands are a pair. This bet is only available in every shoe’s first 65 games.
Super tie, only available in each shoe’s first 30 games, is a side bet that allows you to bet on the specific result of a given tie game.
These are the basic rules to know when playing Baccarat online. Mastering or memorizing these might take time, but with enough time spent in the tables, it shouldn’t be that hard. Live dealers will always give you cues to guide you and make sure that they are followed.
